Madonna is coming in a new ad campaign. In this ad, she is appearing for Dolce & Gabbana performing mundane tasks around the house. The star poses eating pasta, peeling fruit and washing dishes in low-cut designer clothing.
The campaign - shot in New York City last month - will reveal Madonna’s interpretation of a modern day version of iconic Italian actress Anna Magnani. Madonna was photographed in a domestic setting - intimate, sensual and in constant motion – as if the images were frames from a black and white film.
The resulting photos which will appear in magazines around the globe beginning of January reveal a never before seen side of one of the world’s most famous women.
The photos were taken by celebrity photographer Steven Klein.

Mel Gibson is set to direct a movie about Vikings, with help from producer Graham King, who produced “The Departed,” and staring Leonardo DiCaprio, who also stared in “The Departed.” The Viking flick is set to start filming next fall, which means it will probably be released sometime the following year. The Viking film has not yet been named, but William Monahan, who also helped with “The Departed”, is currently writing it.
No plot has been revealed yet, but it is assumed that it will be a very bloody, very action-packed epic movie, similar to “Braveheart,” which Gibson directed. Hollywood hasn’t seen a decent Viking movie since “The Vikings,” in 1958. With the producer, screenwriter, and star, of the Oscar winning film “The Departed,” there are high hopes for this to be another one of Gibson’s impressive historical film.

From writer/director Katherine Dieckmann, the acclaimed filmmaker of “Diggers” and “A Good Baby,” comes “Motherhood,” starring Uma Thurman, Anthony Edwards and Minnie Driver. Eliza Welch (Thurman) is a former fiction writer-turned-mom-blogger with her own site, “The Bjorn Identity.” Putting her deeper creative ambitions on hold to raise her two children, Eliza lives and works in two rent-stabilized apartments in a walk-up tenement building smack in the middle of an otherwise upscale Greenwich Village. Eliza’s good-natured but absent-minded husband (Edwards) seems tuned out to his wife’s conflicts, not to mention basic domestic reality, while her best friend Sheila (Minnie Driver) understands this – and Eliza -- all too well.
