Salma Hayek Born September 2 1966.She is a Mexican actress, Director and also Producer.She Got an Oscar nomination for her role as Frida Kahlo in the film.
Salma Hayek moved to Los Angeles, California in 1991 to study acting under Stella Adler.She had limited fluency in English, which was attributed to her suffering from dyslexia.Robert Rodriguez and his producer, and then his wife Elizabeth avellana soon gave Hayek a leading role opposite Antonio Banderas.
Around 2000 established Hayek film production company Ventanarosa, which she produces film and television projects. Her first feature film as producer of 1999, El Coronel No Tien Quien Le Escriba, Mexico's official selection for submission for best foreign film at the Oscars.
On 9 March 2007 confirmed Hayek engagement to French billionaire and PPR CEO François-Henri Pinault and her pregnancy. 21. September 2007 she gave birth to daughter Valentina Paloma Pinault at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. 18. July 2008 Hayek and Pinault announced the end of his involvement.
