Did you see Torchwood: Miracle Day yet? Love to hear what you thought.

I was underwhelmed. I feared the show my be dumbed down for American audiences, and I got the vibe it had been. The first episode did not compel me to review it. The second might, but do not hold me to it.

Truth be told, I spent most of the first episode deciding if Eve Myles had some work done for her American debut.

I was going to tune in anyway. I like Torchwood. It is a cool show and this sort of thing happens: Eve Myles is hot. I dig the Welsh accent, too.

Nana Visitor is not the only Trek alumnus set to appear on Torchwood: Miracle Day John de Lancie is as well. I do not know how big a role either of them will play, or if they have any scenes together, but it all sounds like sci fi geek nirvana.
