That there is a kiss between Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis in the new movie Black Swan is no secret by now, and it is not a secret that Portman was concerned that the kiss between her and Kunis could end up with people paying more attention to the kiss than they do to the movie which is about a rivalry between two ballerinas. Apparently, there is also no secret that the two apparently knocked back a couple of shots of tequila before they locked lips. This is, at least, director Darren Aronofsky.

He has apparently stated that the two, who are good friends in real life, were concerned that the on-screen love scene would feel awkward, so the two drank a bit before the scene.

The film itself is a psychological thriller centering around a production of “Swan Lake” where the character of Nina, played by Portman, slowly becomes unhinged when a rivalry between her and the character played by Kunis begins. According to Portman “My character starts being paranoid that she’s going to be unseated. It’s a very extreme movie. It’s like very extreme situations. But it’s not explicit in any way.”

Kunis, who is most famous as the voice of Meg on Family Guy, stated And Kunis’s “It’s two girls making out, and guys have a thing for that. And Nat is like every guy’s dream. She’s a nerd’s idea of heaven. The whole thing is silly, but I can see why people care.”
