I do take heart in the realization he is asking for campaign donations under the rationale uber-Democrat fundraisers should not take it for granted voters will buy his fluff a second time around.

Note also he is urging supporters to think back on his early potential--such that it was--rather than what he has done in his time as president. Not a very auspicious start to a reelection campaign, no?
