Phoebe Philo captures the shape ofpurity through the collection Spring / Summer 2011. Céline propose adelicate game between contemporary and classic styles and the fashion designer createsa sophisticated collection of contradictions made in shapes and colors. Thelines are important in the SS 2011 of Céline: nothing is random for PhoebePhilo who revisits classic forms (men's shirt, tunic, the kaftan, t-shirt, longvest, Men's trousers'roomy', the straight skirt in portfolio). The clarity of the white is very importantin the collection: actually it’s the colour of purity and it haven’t got differentnuances but only contrasts. The blue china,the brown leather, stripes green / blue / coral and foulard prints create the contrastsof the white. Thepurity of this colour is also broken by straight lines so sharp. PhoebePhilo proposes an Oriental collection withsportive features. Céline wants a particular woman whowants to be elegant, sportive and fashion too. The shots of Cèline are byJuergen Teller who captures the two supermodel Stella Tennant e Daria Werbowy. The setting is minimal and it refers to a sort of gym where women aresportive but they wear high heels and sophisticated bag too.
