Conservatives are almost universal in their disdain for Meghan McCain. What say you?

I do not pay her much attention. She is a child of privilege who is not qualified to comment professionally on public affairs. She is uninformed, desperate for approval, and terribly thin skinned when either of those facts is pointed out to her.

What really irritates conservatives is that she has carved a niche out for herself as the left’s favorite republican, which ought to be no surprise. That was her father’s position before her. This point is where I part ways with many fellow conservatives. They resent McCain for cozying up to the left. As far as I am concerned, she has found a shtick that works about as well for her as anything else she is ever going to find, so I cannot fault her for cashing in on it.

She is in way over her head. The left is not really all that big on her. They just like to exploit her naïve ways to make conservatives look back. When the time comes she is no longer held in special regard, she is probably going to crash and burn like Charlie Sheen. You can already see it in some of her pouting spells on Twitter after comments regarding her breasts. If she sweats the small stuff like that, the big ones are going to kill her.

I would probably be more sympathetic if she did not remind me of every chubby, airhead sorority girl who used to make a spectacle of herself at every party, falling all over every guy and becoming more desperately obnoxious as she gets drunker. Spoiled rich girls never see much reason to grow out of that, so I doubt McCain ever will, either.
