La faShiOn IcOn dalla semplicità eccentricaed anche un pò rock, è sicuramente quella di Alexa Chung, modella e presentatrice anglo-cineseche stupisce per il suo stile personale, originale ed incredibilmente glamour. « Adoro quello spirito che mixa vintage e modernità. Rispecchiail mio carattere. I capi che amo? Abiti a pois, jeans skinny, vita alta, gradicardigan profilati di nastri di velluto e pizzi, T -shirt con foto oillustrazioni musicali ». Così, Alexa descrive il suo particolare stile in cuiabiti ed accessori dei brand più conosciuti come H&M e Zara, si mescolanocon quelli delle più famose Maison, come Chanel e Marc Jacob. Dopo la cancellazione di "It's on with Alexa Chung" suMTV, la modella si dedica completamente alla moda, reinventandosi fashiondesigner per Madewell del gruppo J. Crew. Non è la prima volta che faShIOn mUSe si reinventano stiliste (come EliIN KliNg o GiSEle BuDChen per H&M), ma perla collezione di Alexa, la curiosità è davvero impressionante. Mentre l’attesacresce, la modella non può che rivelare qualche piccola anticipazione prima dellapresentazione ufficiale ad agosto: “The collection will consist of things youwouldn’t mind getting dirty in and things that I actually wear. I was being offered so manycollaborations for a long time, but I held off. I thought it would be quite a‘sellout’ thing to do. But Madewell had a more organic approach. They seemedreally interested in my ideas and it’s a brand that I really admire. Hopefully,the authenticity of this collaboration will be obvious”.

Alexa Chung, 27, was raised in Hampshire. She became a model at 16 and in 2006 co-presented Channel 4’s teen music show, Popworld. She went on to become a presenter on T4 and MTV, and is a contributing editor for British Vogue. She has a Mulberry bag named after her. On 1 April at 7pm, she presents Gonzo on MTV Music. She lives in London with Alex Turner, the singer in Arctic Monkeys.
