Is it better to live for something, or to die for it?

Depends on what "it" is. Different circumstances are bound to change my answer. It really depends on what one cares about. Generally speaking, graveyards are full of people who died in vain. Has anyone ever truly lived in vain? I am not entirely certain living for something is not more meaningful than dying for it, either.
